Berkeley Public Theology Program

The Berkeley Public Theology Program catalyzes global conversations on theology and the public university. Funded by a three-year, million dollar grant from the Henry Luce Foundation, the Berkeley Public Theology Program is part of BCSR’s wider Religion in the World initiative.

Through Berkeley faculty projects, public programming, course development, and graduate training, the Program creates a new profile for the comprehensive study of religion, connecting theology to religious practice, politics, art, the economy, and more.
